KUALA LUMPUR: Fans of English pop star Ed Sheeran, please pray hard for his speedy recovery if you want to see him perform here as scheduled next month.
The artiste who is set to play in Malaysia on Nov 14 at the Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil, here, broke his right arm while cycling in London yesterday.
It was reported in the British media that the 26-year-old singer was cycling on the streets of the capital when the accident occurred.
After being rushed to the hospital and received treatment, the singer was reportedly in stable condition.
Sheeran later shared a photo on Instagram to calm the storm in a lot of fans' hearts, but did little to reassure them that his upcoming shows would go on.
He wrote: “Ive had a bit of a bicycle accident and I’m currently waiting on some medical advice, which may affect some of my upcoming shows. Please stay tuned for further news. Ed x”
It was also reported that Warner Music Malaysia declined to comment on the status of the concert at the moment.
