KUALA LUMPUR: What if your phone has both dual cameras setup at the back and front? Yes, you've heard it right!

Aimed to attract the younger generations, Huawei unveiled its new mid-range flagship, the Nova 2i at a launch event in Bangsar Shopping Centre here late yesterday.

The Nova 2i is not only the first Huawei smartphone to feature dual camera setups on the front and back, but also a full-screen display like many higher-end smartphones in the market.

Sporting a 5.9-inch display in 1080p resolution, this device boasts a front FullView Display in a screen-to-body ratio of 18:9.

The main camera is a 16MP paired with a 2MP setup to enable 'bokeh' effect while the front camera is a 13MP+2MP setup.

The Huawei Nova 2i is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor paired with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, a 3,340mAh battery, and runs EMUI 5.1 based on Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box.

Retailing at RM1,299, the Huawei Nova 2i is to grab for with the exciting features it has to offer.

The smartphone will be available in three colours - Graphite Black, Prestige Gold and Aurora Blue starting October 13th at all Huawei stores and retailers.

Huawei also offers customers a premium gift box worth RM499, which includes a selfie stick, a headphone and smartphone ring holder, with every purchase of the phone.

At the event, Huawei also introduced up and rising actress Hannah Delisha as its Nova 2i brand ambassador.
